Designed for you to have an extra cover on hand so you can seamlessly swap your original cover on laundry day with less disruption to your dog’s snoozes.

The BarneyCurl cover is made from our signature Barney Teddy fabric which is not only beautiful but also practical for dog use and regular washing. The cover zips off your BarneyCurl bed for easy cover change and washing. Available in three colourways Matcha, Golden Teddy and Rice Pudding.

About the Barney Covers

Is the cover waterproof?

No, our covers are not waterproof as we designed them to be as comfy and soft as possible and waterproof materials are not often comfy to the touch. We have, however, designed the covers to be super easy to remove and wash whenever needed. We created the Waterproof lining Kit which you can fit over the interior of your Barney Bed- just like your own mattress protector, which will fully protect your Barney Bed from water/pee accidents.

Are there any other colors?

The Barney Bed is sold in its original grey cover. We have a wide range of covers available in lots of different colors and materials. We often release new covers, so stay tuned on our website and socials!

I already have a bed. Do you sell just the covers?

Yes! Please choose the same size cover as your Original Barney Bed. Our covers are specifically designed to only fit the Barney Bed. You can check your bed size on the tag inside your cover or if you have any questions about the bed size you ordered, please send an email to online@barneybed.com and we’ll be happy to look up your order.

I fit my zip cover on my bed, why doesn’t look fitted like the photos online?

This is because your original grey cover needs to be fully removed, and the memory foam inserts need to be inserted into your zip cover. Our zip covers (Bouclé Cover, Teddy Covers, Arthur-Itis Cover, Jet Black Covers) are a replacement for the original grey cover and are not intended to be fitted over the grey cover.

Care Instructions

Our Zip Covers unzip like a dream with the YKK Zipper and are machine washable. To wash, simply unzip the cover and remove the foam inserts (don’t forget the chin rests!). Wash on a warm, gentle machine wash. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals. Wash with similar colours. Air dry your cover in the shade inside out. Do not tumble dry.

Shipping

We offer free shipping within Australia. We offer low rate international shipping fees. Please allow extra time for international customs clearance. Please keep in mind, duties and taxes may apply for international orders upon arrival. Duties and taxes are not covered by Barney Bed. All in-stock items will be dispatched within 1-2 business days and typically arrive within 3-5 business days after shipping. We use Australia Post to ship our orders.

Warranty

We offer a 12-month warranty on covers against manufacturing defects only. This warranty applies to defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. It does not cover normal wear and tear or damages due to rough dog use, which includes but is not limited to; excessive scratching, biting, chewing, digging. Barney Bed will not be responsible for any damages resulting from not following the care instructions. Please see Full Warranty Details on our FAQs page.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns must be requested within 14 days of the delivery date. The cover must be unused, free from dog hair and in brand-new condition to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Please see full Refund & Exchange details on our FAQs page.

Couple reasons this isn’t 5 stars

First and foremost my pups absolutely love both of our Barney beds we have a curl and the medium regular. My few complaints are my dogs are also maybe uncommonly dirty all the time we can’t keep light colors light so I wish there were more darker options for the few covers they like. They won’t use the medium if it doesn’t have the barnacles cover on it. We have the darker colored option but just wish for clean sheet Friday we had another darker colored option. The curl cover we also have the two “darker” options but still wish there were more options. Lastly my pups are nesters so they dig before they lay down and have ripped holes in all of our covers I don’t have a solution for this and know that is going to happen just sucks when they aren’t even that old. But I guess for the comfort they have while laying in these beds I would rather the cover be ripped than the bed.
