Accessibility statement

• Every page, menu and pop-up can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are, and a link to skip straight to the page's content.
• Pages are built for screen readers: each has one main heading and named regions, every button says what it does, and form fields are labelled.
• Product page photos are described. Every photo at least names the product and its colour, and many say what the photo shows.
• Choosing a colour or a size reads out the new price, and adding to your cart or changing a quantity reads out what is in your cart and its total.
• The breed finder works by keyboard and reads out the sizes most owners of your breed choose.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% and pages can be read on a narrow screen without scrolling sideways.
• If your device asks for less motion, videos and the moving messages at the top of the page stay still.

On 23 October 2026 we checked every kind of page on both our Australian and US websites, on phone and computer screen sizes: with automated accessibility checks (axe-core), by using each page with a keyboard alone, by reading each page as a screen reader is given it, and with zoom, wider text spacing and reduced motion. We fixed what we found, and we check again before changes go live.

• The video at the top of the home page plays on a loop while it is on screen, and it has no pause button. It does not play at all if your device asks for less motion (Reduce Motion on iPhone, iPad and Mac; Remove animations on Windows and Android).
• The short messages in the bar at the top of every page change every few seconds, and there is no pause button. They stop changing while your pointer is over them or keyboard focus is on them, and stay still if your device asks for less motion.
• On computer screens, the white words over the home page video sit on a see-through panel, and against light parts of the video they have less contrast than the standard asks. On phones they sit on a solid panel.
• Checkout is Shopify's own page, which we cannot change. If anything in it gets in your way, contact us and we will help you complete your order by phone or email.
• The live chat window is provided by LiveChat.
• Some product photos are described only by the product and its colour while we write fuller descriptions.
• Some product photos include words, such as a bed's sizes or the breeds it suits. The same information is written on the product page and in our Size Guide.
